Our client is a dynamic medical device business at the forefront of cutting-edge biomaterials. With robust R&D resources, the company is gearing up for expansion launching an innovative injectable product to revolutionise the medical aesthetics space, whilst continuing to develop a robust pipeline to bring further innovation to market. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a Key Account Manager in Central Italy.

The person in this role will oversee the targeting of prestigious medical aesthetic clinics and other HCPs within Central Italy, aiming to cultivate partnerships with our client. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams, the Key Account Manager (KAM) will strive to comprehend the specific requirements of each key account and propose customized solutions to enhance business expansion. Moreover, the KAM will provide ongoing support, training, and education to ensure the optimal utilization of their product and foster long term relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively pursue new accounts, fostering relationships and formulating strategies to cultivate profitable and mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with newly acquired accounts.
  • Meet sales objectives through the implementation of marketing strategies and sales plans, while also enhancing product awareness and sales among pertinent key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the medical aesthetic field.
  • Provide support for both the business and scientific requirements of healthcare professionals.
  • Oversee customer activity based on company metrics, tracking progress against KPIs, and analyze market data to pinpoint competitive advantages.
  • Work in collaboration with medical affairs to nurture product advocates.

To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following criteria

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strategic approach to building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, KOLs and HCPs.
  • Experience in Medical Aesthetics sales.
  • Professional level language skills in Italian and English.
  • Able to travel for business.
